Brilliant High School Kawempe (BHSK) is a mixed secondary school. Brilliant High school was founded in 1998 with 58 students in total. At present Brilliant High School, Kawempe is one of the leading secondary schools in Uganda. Discipline, devotion to God and Academics are the main reasons for one to be enrolled in the school. The school motto is “Education is Light”.
Hard work allows students from Brilliant High School Kawempe, to compete favorably for A level schools, Tertially Institutions and Universities after S.6 and many of our students have attained success. Among them are medical officers, Engineers, Bankers, Economists, Teachers and many other professionals.

Brilliant High School Kawempe is registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports under registration No PSS/B/193, follows the National Curriculum and has a UNEB centre No U1144. In additional, we offer moral training. Basically there are two general departments namely:- Academic and Co- curricular departments.
Brilliant High School has storey building block for classes, with equipped laboratory for science practical, well stocked library for research work and high qualified teaching staff guarantees high level of theoretical teaching and practical training to the students.
At Brilliant High School Kawempe students are taught and prepared for bright ideas putting in mind the current demands of the World Markets. Main levels of Education are ‘O’ and ‘A’ level (S.1 – S.4) and (S.5 & S.6) respectively. Teaching at Brilliant High School is carried out in English.
